About Us

OTTAWAKI sells indoor lighting - pendant lights, ceiling fixtures, and wall sconces - to people furnishing homes across Canada. That's the whole business. We'd rather say that plainly than dress it up as something bigger.

What We Actually Do

We go through a lot of lighting before anything makes it onto this site. Most of it gets passed over - the finish looks different in person than in photos, the proportions feel off once you picture it on a real ceiling, or it's just not something we'd hang in our own place. What stays tends to share a few things: a finish that holds up, a shape that still looks right after the first impression wears off, and a price that isn't padded to make a discount feel bigger than it is.

We're not trying to carry everything. A smaller list we actually stand behind is more useful to you than a long one padded out with filler.

Shipping, Returns, and the Boring-But-Important Stuff

Orders ship free across Canada. Processing takes 1–3 business days, and delivery typically another 5–8 business days after that. If something arrives damaged, defective, or just wrong, we cover the return and either replace it or refund you - no back-and-forth required.

Changed your mind instead? You've got 30 days to send it back. In that case the return shipping is on you - we think it's fairer to be upfront about that than to bury it in fine print. Either way, there's never a restocking fee. Full details are in our Return & Refund Policy.
